In-Ga-Ge mineralization of slags, Tsumeb

The study will focus on the detection capability of the portable field equipment (pXRF), to detect the signal response of the critical raw materials (In-Ga-Ge) of the polymetallic Tsumeb Cu-Pb-Zn-Ge and surrounding epigenetic deposit. The deposits of interest are hosted in the carbonate rocks of the Otavi Mountainland. Otavi Mountainland is situated at the transition between the Northern zone and Northern platform of the Neoproterozoic, Damara Supergroup. It consists of Grootfontein Paleoproterozoic basement rocks, which are overlain by the sedimentary units of the Damara Supergroup.
